Hart & Hickman, PC (H&H) is seeking a drafting professional for our Charlotte office. This position offers the opportunity to provide drafting support on many different environmental projects from our engineers, scientists, and geologists. Ok, what will I be doing in the CAD Specialist position?
- preparing site plans utilizing AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS
- drafting contamination isocontour and groundwater potentiometric surface maps
- preparing remediation system and vapor intrusion mitigation system drawings
- preparing and using GIS referenced files for site plans and to map waypoints for field staff
- completing figure edits based on comments from our geologist, scientists, and engineers
- developing new figure layouts and internal CAD standards
- using technologies to introduce efficiencies in the drafting process
- using your creative side to help develop aesthetically pleasing figure designs to present complex data
We will help you become familiar with our systems, deliverables, and software, and can arrange for formal training if needed to help you gain proficiency in specialty areas (ex. Microstation conversions, ArcGIS, Access, etc).
